Built in 1987, this Bayliner 2450, (the exact same model as the 2455), has been in my ownership since 1999. In that time she has undergone some very serious upgrades.
The most notable is the change from the original V8 OMC Cobra petrol engine to a brand new Volvo Penta KAD32 170hp diesel engine with DP-E duo prop sterndrive in 2006. This has transformed the usablity of this boat making it very ecomomical and of course, easy to fill with the abundance of waterside diesel outlets. Economical, however, does not mean slow. She will still hit 30 knots top speed and will cruise happily at around 25 knots.
Other upgrades you are unlikley to find on any other 2450 include a bowthruster to make close quarters manouvering a doddle, an electric windlass for easy anchoring, diesel heating to keep you warm throughout the year, and new upholstery in both the cockpit and the cabin.

You'll struggle to find a better, more usable small cruiser, for the money.
The 25 foot Bayliner 2450/2455 offer four berth accomodation with a massive midships double berth and a convertible forward dinette. There is a small galley to port with pressurised hot and cold water and single burner hob, and a separate toilet compartment to starboard with sea toilet, to holding tank, and sink. There is plenty of storage spread around the boat and a hanging locker located on the starboard side.
